Crime Simulator has 60 Steam achievements total. About half come naturally through normal gameplay -- you will get the first 15-20 without trying. The rest require specific strategies. This guide covers the first 32 achievements (Very Easy to Medium difficulty).

Use Completionist mode for achievement hunting. It removes quota pressure and gives unlimited time. In Standard mode, quota deadlines interrupt focused achievement runs. Switch modes from the main menu before starting a new game.

Tutorial Achievements (Auto-Unlock)

These five achievements unlock during the first few minutes. You cannot miss them.

Money makerEarn $5,000 total72%
Gimme creditsEarn 1,000 credits in one game71%

"Understood?" unlocks as soon as the tutorial jail-break sequence ends. "Whoops" requires your first death -- jump off a second-story balcony if you want it fast.

**Money maker** and **Gimme credits** will unlock naturally in your first 30 minutes. Credits are earned by completing jobs (heist missions). Focus on the tool shop job first -- it pays 200 credits and is available immediately.

Rank Progression Achievements

Ranking up is the core progression loop. The rank determines which tools, zones, and jobs are available.

AchievementRequirementTime to Unlock
ApprenticeReach Rank 4~30 min
ProfessionalReach Rank 8~1 hr
ExpertReach Rank 12~2 hr
MasterReach Rank 16~3 hr
World ClassReach Rank 20~5 hr
LegendaryReach Rank 25~8 hr
Fastest rank-up strategy: focus on completing item request lists. Each completed list gives roughly 2x the rank XP of a normal job. Check the request board at your hideout before every run and prioritize those items.

Rank 4 (Apprentice) unlocks the tool upgrade shop. Rank 8 (Professional) unlocks a second job district. Rank 16 (Master) gives access to alarm-disabling tools.

Loot & Money Achievements

AchievementRequirementStrategy
Appretince thiefSteal 25 items in one gameHit 2-3 small houses -- grab everything
Master thiefSteal 100 items in one gameDedicated run, hit 6+ houses
Hoarder$25,000 worth of loot in hideoutSave high-value items, dont sell early
Golden cardComplete 3 heists in one gameFocus on heist targets on map
Clock is tickingComplete 2 timed challengesTimed challenges appear after Rank 6
SneakyComplete a job without triggering any alarmUse silenced tools on cameras first
CollectorOwn 1 of each tool type at hideoutBuy all tool tiers once unlocked

**Hoarder** is the most delayed of this group. The requirement is $25K total loot value stored at your hideout (not cash). Focus on electronics (laptops, tablets) and jewelry -- they have the best value-to-slot ratio. Gold bars are best but rare. Check kitchen counters and bedroom drawers first.

For Master thief (100 items), I recommend a Completionist mode run. Since there is no time pressure, you can methodically clear every container in each house. A single large house has 15-25 lootable items. Hit 5-6 houses and you are done.

For Golden card (3 heists), heist missions unlock around Rank 10 and appear on the map with a briefcase icon. Each heist takes 5-10 minutes with proper gear (blowtorch, drill, hacking tool). Plan your route so you can hit all 3 in one session.

Challenge Achievements

AchievementRequirementNotes
Delivery of a lifetimeComplete all item request lists in one gamePlan routes around requests
Full houseHave 5 active jobs available at onceUnlocks naturally by Rank 14
CautiousWin with max 3 police callsHard mode recommended
Insane victoryComplete the game on Master difficultyHardest of the medium tier
Tree and freeEscape police 3 times in one runAfter police calls, hide in alley until bar depletes

Delivery of a lifetime is the most time-sensitive. Item request lists appear at your hideout board. Each list has 3-5 items. You must deliver all of them in a single game (one session from start to finish). I recommend:

  1. Play on Standard difficulty (Completionist mode has more lists, making this harder)
  2. Do not sell any loot until you have checked the request board
  3. Stash requested items in your hideout storage
  4. Turn them in as soon as you have a full list

Cautious (max 3 police calls) requires careful play. Police are triggered by: alarms, being spotted by residents, breaking windows in view of neighbors, and using loud tools. Stick to silent methods: lockpicks over drills, silenced crowbar for doors, and always disable cameras first.

Progression Tips

  • Achievement hunting order: Tutorial > Rank > Loot > Challenges > Hard (see Part 2)
  • Most medium achievements can be combined in a single Completionist run
  • You can check your achievement progress in Steam Shift+Tab overlay without leaving the game
  • If you are stuck on a specific achievement, check the Steam Community guides linked below
