Endless mode in Crime Simulator removes the quota timer and day limit, letting you progress at your own pace. Loot respawns daily in houses you have already cleared. This mode is perfect for learning the game, grinding achievements, and testing strategies without pressure.

How Endless Mode Works

Endless mode was added in Update 1.1. Key mechanics:

  • No quota deadlines -- quotas exist but never expire
  • Loot respawns daily -- houses reset with new loot every game day
  • Full progression -- ranks, tools, skills, and upgrades all carry over
  • Death penalty -- same as Standard mode (lose carried loot, keep rank/upgrades) -- the hardcore survival guide explains how to avoid fatal mistakes even in forgiving modes.
  • Police system -- police AI behaves the same as Standard mode
  • Difficulty selection -- choose Casual, Normal, Pro, or Master difficulty. The police system guide is essential reading for higher difficulties where detection is stricter.

Why Play Endless Mode?

Endless mode is the best choice for several playstyles:

New players: Learn the map layouts, tool mechanics, and police evasion without the pressure of a running quota timer. I spent my first 10 hours here and it saved me from constant restarts.

Achievement hunters: Grind loot-based achievements without worrying about failing quotas. "Millionaire" (earn $1,000,000 lifetime) is significantly easier in Endless mode.

Strategy testing: Try different tool combinations, role assignments, and loot routes without risking a run. If a strategy fails, you lose nothing but time.

Relaxed play: Not every session needs to be a high-stakes heist. Endless mode lets you loot at your own pace.

Early Game Strategy

Your first few hours in Endless mode should focus on building a foundation.

Phase 1: Tool Foundation (First 2-3 Hours)

  1. Complete the tutorial for starter cash and the crowbar
  2. Hit the three cheapest houses on the job board
  3. Buy lockpick set, flashlight, and sleeping gas
  4. Practice lockpicking on every door until the mini-game is muscle memory
  5. Learn the layout of the starter district

Phase 2: Map Mastery (Hours 3-8)

  1. Unlock the suburban district by ranking up
  2. Learn every house layout in both districts
  3. Memorize NPC patrol routes in 5-6 houses
  4. Find your first 2-3 skill leaflets (focus on Tool Maintenance and Stealth Movement)
  5. Save $3,000-$5,000 for tool upgrades

Phase 3: Scaling (Hours 8+)

  1. Target high-security houses with electronic locks
  2. Hunt for rare skill leaflets
  3. Save gold bars for basement upgrades
  4. Begin achievement-focused runs
  5. Experiment with different tool loadouts

Daily Routine in Endless Mode

A well-optimized Endless mode day looks like this:

TimeActivityExpected Earnings
MorningCheck job board, accept contractsFree
MorningHit 2-3 small houses for quick cash$400-$800
Mid-dayCheck item request board, stash matching itemsFree
AfternoonHit 1-2 medium houses targeting request items$600-$1,200
EveningFence non-requested items$300-$600
EveningDeliver request items for premium$500-$1,000
NightOptional: night heist (higher risk, higher reward)$800-$1,500
End of dayVisit hideout to save and organize stashFree

Total per game day (real time ~30-45 minutes): $1,800-$3,600

Police Evasion in Endless

Since there is no permadeath, you can be more aggressive with police evasion. Unlike Hardcore mode where one mistake wipes your save, Endless mode penalizes you by losing carried loot only.

Endless-friendly evasion tactics:

  • Use the "quit to menu" save trick if you are about to be arrested with valuable loot
  • Practice escaping chases to improve your skills for Hardcore later
  • Take risks you would not take in Standard mode (sprint past NPCs, smash windows for speed)
Endless mode is the best place to practice police chase evasion. Trigger a chase deliberately and practice losing cops. The skills you develop here transfer directly to Standard and Hardcore modes.

Loot Respawn Mechanics

Houses respawn loot every game day. The loot type and value are randomized, meaning a house that had low-value kitchen appliances yesterday could have a laptop today.

Respawn rules:

  • Houses reset at the start of each game day
  • Loot variety increases with your rank (higher ranks = better loot spawns)
  • Safes respawn with new contents daily
  • Special loot boxes respawn with potential skill leaflets
  • NPC positions and patrol routes are also randomized daily

This means you cannot rely on a single house for consistent high-value loot. I rotate through 10-15 houses per session, hitting the ones with the best observable loot.

When to Leave Endless Mode

Endless mode is a training ground, not a permanent home. Move to Standard or Hardcore mode when:

  • You can clear any house in the first two districts without triggering alarms
  • You have all 10 skill leaflets learned
  • You have $10,000+ cash reserve and full tool upgrades
  • You know NPC patrol routes by memory
  • You can escape a police chase without using the quit trick
  • Standard mode quotas feel easy or boring

Endless Mode Achievements

Some achievements are significantly easier in Endless mode:

AchievementEndless DifficultyStandard Difficulty
Master thief (100 items)EasyMedium
Hoarder ($25K stash)EasyHard
Millionaire ($1M)MediumVery Hard
Golden card (3 heists)EasyEasy
Delivery of a lifetimeEasyMedium

If you are going for 100% achievements, plan to spend at least 20-30 hours in Endless mode.
