Crime Simulator Loot Locations and Item Values Guide
Loot Tiers by Value
Not all loot is created equal. Prioritize these items when you see them:
High Value ($200+ each)
- Laptops and tablets
- Jewelry (rings, watches, necklaces)
- Gold bars (Update 1.3)
- Cash stacks
- Smartphones
Medium Value ($80-$200)
- Gaming consoles
- Power tools
- Brand-name clothing
- Cameras
- Stereos
Low Value (under $80)
- Kitchen appliances
- Decorations
- Books
- Clothing
- General household items
House Types and Expected Loot
Different house layouts favor different loot types:
Suburban Houses
Low to medium security. Expect household electronics, some cash, occasional jewelry. Good for beginners. Two to three bedrooms offer the most loot density per visit.
Upscale Residences
Higher security (alarms, electronic locks). Better loot: laptops, jewelry boxes, wall safes. Bring the hacking tool for electronic locks.
Apartments
Tight spaces, multiple floors, neighbors nearby. High noise risk. Loot is concentrated in bedrooms and living rooms. Quick in-and-out targets.
Commercial Properties
Stores, offices, pawn shops. High-value display items behind glass. The glass knife is essential. Expect security cameras and alarms.
Heist Locations
Special high-security targets unlocked through progression. Require full tool kits and planning. Best loot in the game: gold bars, authentic jewelry, high-end electronics.
Item Request System
Some items on your map have specific wants. If you bring a requested item to the right NPC, you get bonus cash on top of the regular sell price.
How it works:
- Check your item request list at the hideout notice board
- Note what items are requested and by whom
- When looting, keep requested items instead of selling them immediately
- Deliver the items to the requesting NPC
Requested items pay about 50-100% more than fence prices according to community reports. Stacking multiple requests for the same item type is possible and lucrative.
Gold Bars (Update 1.3)
Gold bars are a special loot type introduced in Update 1.3. They are used for safehouse upgrades rather than direct cash:
- Found in: High-security targets, heist locations
- Authentic vs Fake: Some jewelry is fake. Authentic gold bars are clearly marked. Fake jewelry sells for less but still has some value.
- Use: Gold bars upgrade your basement hideout for better storage and tool racks
Selling gold bars for cash is often a trap. Gold bars used in hideout upgrades unlock higher-value contracts and better loot tables. The long-term profit from upgraded hideout far exceeds the immediate sale price.
Per-Map Loot Differences
Crime Simulator's 1.2 update added the Rural Arizona map with distinct loot pools:
| Map | Best Loot | Security Level | Tools Needed |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starting City | Electronics, cash | Low-Medium | Lockpick, flashlight |
| Rural Arizona (1.2) | Tools, car parts, rural valuables | Medium | Lockpick, drill, blowtorch |
Each map resets its loot table periodically. If you clear a high-value house, note the in-game day and revisit after 3-4 days -- loot will respawn based on community observations.
