Crime Simulator Achievement Guide Part 1: Easy to Medium Achievements
Crime Simulator has 60 Steam achievements total. About half come naturally through normal gameplay -- you will get the first 15-20 without trying. The rest require specific strategies. This guide covers the first 32 achievements (Very Easy to Medium difficulty).
Achievement Overview
| Category | Count | Difficulty | Typical Playtime |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tutorial | 5 | Very Easy | First 10 min |
| Progression (Rank) | 10 | Easy | 1-3 hours |
| Loot & Money | 8 | Easy-Medium | 2-4 hours |
| Challenges | 9 | Medium | 4-8 hours |
| Hard (covered in Part 2) | 18 | Hard-Very Hard | 10-30 hours |
| Update 1.3 (covered in Part 2) | 10 | Medium-Hard | 3-8 hours |
Tutorial Achievements (Auto-Unlock)
These five achievements unlock during the first few minutes. You cannot miss them.
| Achievement | Requirement | Unlock Rate |
|---|---|---|
| Understood? | Complete the tutorial | 96% |
| Whoops | Die for the first time | 77% |
| Yeah, I can do that | Complete 5 jobs | 74% |
| Money maker | Earn $5,000 total | 72% |
| Gimme credits | Earn 1,000 credits in one game | 71% |
"Understood?" unlocks as soon as the tutorial jail-break sequence ends. "Whoops" requires your first death -- jump off a second-story balcony if you want it fast.
**Money maker** and **Gimme credits** will unlock naturally in your first 30 minutes. Credits are earned by completing jobs (heist missions). Focus on the tool shop job first -- it pays 200 credits and is available immediately.
Rank Progression Achievements
Ranking up is the core progression loop. The rank determines which tools, zones, and jobs are available.
| Achievement | Requirement | Time to Unlock |
|---|---|---|
| Apprentice | Reach Rank 4 | ~30 min |
| Professional | Reach Rank 8 | ~1 hr |
| Expert | Reach Rank 12 | ~2 hr |
| Master | Reach Rank 16 | ~3 hr |
| World Class | Reach Rank 20 | ~5 hr |
| Legendary | Reach Rank 25 | ~8 hr |
Rank 4 (Apprentice) unlocks the tool upgrade shop. Rank 8 (Professional) unlocks a second job district. Rank 16 (Master) gives access to alarm-disabling tools.
Loot & Money Achievements
| Achievement | Requirement | Strategy |
|---|---|---|
| Appretince thief | Steal 25 items in one game | Hit 2-3 small houses -- grab everything |
| Master thief | Steal 100 items in one game | Dedicated run, hit 6+ houses |
| Hoarder | $25,000 worth of loot in hideout | Save high-value items, dont sell early |
| Golden card | Complete 3 heists in one game | Focus on heist targets on map |
| Clock is ticking | Complete 2 timed challenges | Timed challenges appear after Rank 6 |
| Sneaky | Complete a job without triggering any alarm | Use silenced tools on cameras first |
| Collector | Own 1 of each tool type at hideout | Buy all tool tiers once unlocked |
**Hoarder** is the most delayed of this group. The requirement is $25K total loot value stored at your hideout (not cash). Focus on electronics (laptops, tablets) and jewelry -- they have the best value-to-slot ratio. Gold bars are best but rare. Check kitchen counters and bedroom drawers first.
For Master thief (100 items), I recommend a Completionist mode run. Since there is no time pressure, you can methodically clear every container in each house. A single large house has 15-25 lootable items. Hit 5-6 houses and you are done.
For Golden card (3 heists), heist missions unlock around Rank 10 and appear on the map with a briefcase icon. Each heist takes 5-10 minutes with proper gear (blowtorch, drill, hacking tool). Plan your route so you can hit all 3 in one session.
Challenge Achievements
| Achievement | Requirement | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Delivery of a lifetime | Complete all item request lists in one game | Plan routes around requests |
| Full house | Have 5 active jobs available at once | Unlocks naturally by Rank 14 |
| Cautious | Win with max 3 police calls | Hard mode recommended |
| Insane victory | Complete the game on Master difficulty | Hardest of the medium tier |
| Tree and free | Escape police 3 times in one run | After police calls, hide in alley until bar depletes |
Delivery of a lifetime is the most time-sensitive. Item request lists appear at your hideout board. Each list has 3-5 items. You must deliver all of them in a single game (one session from start to finish). I recommend:
- Play on Standard difficulty (Completionist mode has more lists, making this harder)
- Do not sell any loot until you have checked the request board
- Stash requested items in your hideout storage
- Turn them in as soon as you have a full list
Cautious (max 3 police calls) requires careful play. Police are triggered by: alarms, being spotted by residents, breaking windows in view of neighbors, and using loud tools. Stick to silent methods: lockpicks over drills, silenced crowbar for doors, and always disable cameras first.
Progression Tips
- Achievement hunting order: Tutorial > Rank > Loot > Challenges > Hard (see Part 2)
- Most medium achievements can be combined in a single Completionist run
- You can check your achievement progress in Steam Shift+Tab overlay without leaving the game
